Yesterday, JJGK-AERO represented by Alexis Tierny, Managing Director, and Charlotte Pelletier, Communications Manager, were at the Pierre Mendes France Highschool in Vitrolles. An important day for all the stakeholders of the helicopter industry in the region. This time, it was with the Lycée des Métiers de l’aéronautique Pierre Mendes France that Airbus signed a partnership agreement. An essential collaboration aimed at enhancing the attractiveness of the noble professions in the aerospace industry and meeting the growing needs for ressources and skills.
This morning JJGK-AERO was at the Pôle Formation UIMM SUD. A visit that has a double stake for the regional helicopter industry. We first witnessed the signing of an innovative partnership between the Pôle Formation UIMM SUD and Airbus. A strategic agreement that strengthens ties and contribute to the transformation of the regional helicopter industry. Then we had the chance to inaugurate the new aeronautical mechanics training area which was made possible thanks to the “RotorSkills” Future Investissment Program. This state-of-the-art facility demonstrates the commitment of the region’s players to the training and development of talents in the aerospace field.

Approvals come and go, but they are never the same. JJGK-AERO now holds EMAR 145 approval (EMAR/FR 145-079), which allows us to handle military helicopters (H225M). Congratulations to GWENDOLINE WHITFIELD for this new approval. May 12 2023

We are pleased to announce that JJGK-AERO has just obtained PART CAMO approval (PART FR.CAMO.0161) for EC225 and AS332 aircraft, enabling us to open up a new chapter in airworthiness planning and monitoring, and to carry out airworthiness reviews. Our Airworthiness Manager, Laura DEBRAY, will be taking on these new tasks, along with GWENDOLINE WHITFIELD, Head of Surveillance and Compliance.
On Friday 9 December, the aeronautical paint booth was inaugurated as part of the new «Mention Complémentaire Peintre Aéronautique» course at the Lycée Pierre MENDES in Vitrolles, in partnership with the Greta and the Pôle Formation UIMM SUD. This is a windfall for JJGK-AERO, which is counting on new local talent to continue its development, as Programme Manager Alexis Tierny told Maritima. Thank you to everyone involved in this training programme, which meets a real need.
As part of the dismantling of an H225, the JJGK-AERO team is working on various stages: dismantling the tail boom, testing the gauge rods and validating the electronic box of the emergency buoyancy system are on the day’s test programme.
JJGK Aero, which operates in the civil and military aeronautics sector, chose the famous Mercure hangar in Istres as its base of operations because of its proximity to two major customers: Airbus Helicopters and Armée de l’Air Base 125. On 5 July 2022, during the second edition of Aerosud, JJGK Aero, which is making major financial and HR investments, was honoured by Provence Promotion at a special event in Istres with the «Invest in Provence» award. After a few days of hard work, the aircraft’s paintwork is complete. Our painters started by stripping the aircraft using a few solutions. Then, thanks to the expertise of our painters and the quality of our paint booth, we managed to achieve our goal on time.
